Version history

What changed in each release, newest first. Click a version to expand.

v32.1 · Privacy vendor cards: Cloudflare + HubSpot
  • §9 service-provider cards updated for the final stack per Jake's Jul 31 call: hosting card now names Cloudflare (was Vercel), and the contact-form card now names HubSpot (was Web3Forms — the form moves to an embedded HubSpot form; Mathieu's account + Jake's invite pending). Done before Mathieu's final policy read.
v32 · The July 20–27 batch (§19): new CMTNB Rules + meeting decisions
  • All association-membership references removed per Mathieu's Jul 23 instruction and CMTNB Rules v10 Rule 7.04(b): the "Member of ANBMT" strip pair is gone from all 8 pages, plus the About list item and the home bio phrase. The strip now reads "Registered with CMTNB · Services offered: RAPID NeuroFascial Reset · Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) · Cupping" per his approved wording (Rule 7.05(b)+(c)); the "Additional training in" label and course-part names are retired (7.04(a)). About heading is now "Professional Registration & Services"; the course-completion-certificates sentence is removed.
  • "At no additional cost" removed from the deep-tissue wording in all 3 spots (Registered Massage Therapy callout + meta description, Services blurb) per Rule 7.04(j); deep tissue stays listed as a service.
  • The "English · Français" footer chip is off all 12 pages until the French site ships (~September), per Mathieu's meeting call; the home hero bilingual services line stays.
  • FAQ booking answer restored to his longer "intake, postural and movement assessment" version (visible + structured-data twin + booking CTA) per his Notion tick.
v31 · His July 19th requests (§18)
  • Footer rebuilt everywhere to Mathieu's dictated block, one identity line instead of the two repetitive paragraphs, his short accessibility wording, and "member of the College" is gone site-wide per his regulator correction.
  • Credentials strip collapsed to a single "Additional training in" entry in his order (RAPID Upper Body, Lower Body and Core · Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization · Cupping Therapy); cupping training added to the home bio line and the About block.
  • FAQ "Will treatment hurt?" replaced with his tighter version (visible + structured-data twin). Privacy: retention section now his reviewed under-19 wording (16 years after turning 19, until at least 35), and complaints now route to Ombud NB (linked to ombudnb.ca, toll-free verified) with the breach line aligned.
  • Housekeeping: the May audit report file no longer ships with the site.
v30.1 · Contact page aligned (§12)
  • Accessibility paragraph in the map block now carries Mathieu's exact FAQ wording (second floor, stairs only, no elevator or ground-floor entrance, stairs safely, can help direct toward an accessible provider), so one version of the rule exists site-wide. Hero line updated from "bilingual EN/FR" to "services in English and French" per his §2 language verdict.
v30 · Hours locked (§12)
  • Jake confirmed the posted hours are final (Mon/Thu/Fri 3:00–8:00 PM, Sat/Sun 11:15 AM–4:15 PM, Tuesdays and Wednesdays closed), so the 👋 confirm-your-hours review note on the Contact page is removed. The hours grid itself is unchanged.
v29 · Terms & Conditions rebuilt (§11)
  • Opening now Mathieu's two dictated sentences: the Cancellation Policy is presented and accepted during online booking, and the terms do not replace informed consent, which is obtained separately and can be changed or withdrawn at any time.
  • Booking & payment expanded to three paragraphs (fees shown in the booking system subject to HST · direct billing depends on the plan and cannot be guaranteed, client responsible for the balance · card on file through secure third-party providers, charges governed by the Cancellation Policy + booking agreement). The old "credit card to secure an appointment" line and "no-shows" vocabulary are gone.
  • Consent expanded to three paragraphs ending "These terms do not, by themselves, authorize assessment or treatment." New Treatment decisions section (modify/postpone/decline/stop, no guaranteed result, referral where out of scope). Conduct renamed Professional conduct and safety, three paragraphs, with "may remain responsible for the full booked fee" per his Jul 15 correction.
  • New Language and electronic forms section (EN/FR, ClinicSense forms English-only). His services paragraph verbatim ("in good standing" dropped). Health information carries the missing-info consequences line. Changes-to-terms clause added; Effective date + Last updated set to August 1, 2026. Eyebrow renamed "Booking and clinic policies." No liability-release language anywhere.
v28.1 · §10 gap fixes from the phase-verification sweep
  • The cancellation page's meta description (the Google snippet) now uses the new vocabulary: missed-appointment instead of no-show, and the 24-hour window anchored to the appointment start time.
  • The FAQ "What if I'm running late?" answer and its structured-data twin now carry Mathieu's exact late-arrivals closer ("not enough time remaining to safely provide meaningful treatment"), so a single version of the rule exists site-wide.
v28 · Cancellation Policy locked (§10)
  • Mathieu's unified fee sentence is now the single version site-wide: on the policy page and swapped into the FAQ cancellation answer and its structured-data twin ("cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice… may be charged up to the full appointment fee").
  • New "Card on file" section with his authorization wording: card required at booking, no fee charged at booking, booking authorizes charging the card for applicable fees, and a receipt is provided. The 24-hour rule is now anchored to the appointment start time, with the message-received time deciding whether the policy applies.
  • His insurance line (not eligible for reimbursement, no massage therapy insurance receipt issued), his emergency paragraph (exception not automatic, case by case), and his late-arrivals closer ("not enough time remaining to safely provide meaningful treatment"). Effective date + last updated set to August 1, 2026. Poster/ClinicSense/consent-form copies are Mathieu's side; the website is the source text.
v27 · Privacy Policy locked (§9)
  • Opening rewritten to Mathieu's custodian wording: PHIPAA with "any applicable federal privacy requirements, including PIPEDA, where it applies" (statute citation dropped). Retention now his Jul 15 final wording, plus a longer-if-required paragraph (law, active complaint, insurance matter, investigation, legal proceeding); destruction language no longer promises records are "purged" or vendors "instructed to delete."
  • Service-provider section rebuilt under his heading with his intro and responsibility sentence, and six named vendor cards: ClinicSense, Square, TELUS Health eClaims, Google Workspace, Vercel (hosting), Web3Forms (contact form). The unverified "PHIPAA-equivalent handling" claim and the generic "Website host" entry are gone.
  • New "Data outside Canada" block with no storage countries named (the ClinicSense-US claim could not be verified). Access requests now "30 business days, subject to any extensions permitted by law." Privacy contact block added (name, address, email). Effective date set: August 1, 2026. Draft-for-review banner stays until sign-off.
v26 · FAQ page locked (§8)
  • All 16 outstanding FAQ items from Mathieu's Jul 13 recordings applied with his dictated wording: direct billing rewritten, the insurer-list question deleted and replaced with his coverage-confirmation question, the MVA answer now walks through the claim-number + adjuster process, receipts corrected to "CMTNB registration number," sessions-needed / what-to-wear / soreness / driving-and-exercise all rewritten, and the ice opinion deleted entirely.
  • Booking answer: simplified inclusion list (his Jul 13 double-tick default), bold card-on-file requirement line, and a bilingual line under the booking instructions. Cancellation answer picks up his fee wording plus the bold card authorization line. French answer now notes ClinicSense forms are English-only, with his help-in-French offer.
  • Accessibility answer is his direct version (stairs only, no elevator, can direct you toward an accessible provider). Privacy answer reduced to the PHIPAA one-liner. Housekeeping: one "Contact Mathieu" button, "Mathieu replies between appointments" phrasing.
  • All 17 JSON-LD structured-data twins rebuilt to mirror the new visible answers verbatim (insurer-list entry dropped, coverage-confirmation added); JSON parse-checked. "Will treatment hurt?" untouched, as it was never in his review.
v25.3 · Massage page locked + deep tissue (§6)
  • Page renamed Registered Massage Therapy (h1, browser title, breadcrumb, footer and related links; URL unchanged). Steps heading now "What to expect at your first appointment." with his health-history step 1; direct billing moved out of the steps into its own note; Cupping Therapy added to the combinable techniques.
  • Deep tissue massage added per Mathieu's Friday text: visible callout ("available and included at no additional cost"), woven into the treatment description, and in the page title + meta description for search. His exact wording pass is invited on the Notion page.
  • §7 verification patch: the cupping page integrated-with links now run in Mathieu's dictated order (Registered Massage Therapy · RAPID · IASTM) with the full IASTM name.
v25.2 · Logos out, registration text in (§13)
  • All credential/badge logos removed site-wide per Mathieu's Jul 17 request: the credentials strips on eight pages are now text-only pairs (CMTNB · ANBMT · RAPID training · IASTM training), the home bio logos became a text line, and the About credentials section is his full "Professional Registration & Training" block (no certificate scans, no RAPID dates).
  • Membership text updated NBMA → ANBMT throughout. Logo files stay in assets, unreferenced, ready to return selectively once written permissions arrive (ANBMT expected Monday).
  • §4 verification patch: the RAPID page related-links now use the full IASTM name and include Cupping Therapy.
  • §5 verification patch: hero secondary buttons on all four technique pages now read "What to expect" (was "How it works"), and the IASTM section heading deduped to "What to expect during treatment."
v25.1 · Services page locked (§3)
  • Card order now matches Mathieu's Jul 14 list: Registered Massage Therapy (renamed from Therapeutic Massage, listed first) · RAPID · TMJ Treatment (new card, his wording, links into the RAPID page) · IASTM · Cupping. All anchor ids unchanged so existing links keep working.
  • TMJ card uses the jaw/face photo as an interim until the photoshoot's TMJ intraoral shot lands. Meta description updated to the five-entry order.
v25 · Home page locked (§2)
  • Hero rewritten to Mathieu's Jul 12 wording (new h1, paragraph, and full bilingual services line). "Who this is for" header now "This practice may be a good fit if…" with his intro.
  • Therapeutic Massage foundation box moved above the three technique cards. Conditions strip: heading neutralized and all 18 labels switched to his non-diagnosis names.
  • Footers on every page: added the registration + focus lines and the second-floor accessibility wording; bottom chip now "English · Français".
  • Before/after range-of-motion client photos and the old award images moved out of the deploy folder; home RAPID card uses the RAPID action shot as an interim until the photoshoot photos land.
v24.1 · Booking section locked (§1)
  • Appointment cards updated to Mathieu's Jul 12 dictation: new intro ("where you are in care… obtain your consent before treatment begins"), new Initial and Reassessment descriptions, new Follow-Up description, "Best suited for" duration bullets with the new 60-minute ending, and the Jul 12 duration note (his Jun 26 version preserved in Notion for his verdict).
  • Added the appointment-time statement below the cards and to the FAQ pricing answer plus its structured data.
  • 2027 price bump prepped outside the deploy: price-location map + helper script (bump-prices-2027.py). No public price change.
v24 · Site-wide compliance pass (Mathieu's 17 rules)
  • "Patient" changed to "client" everywhere (his Jul 4 reversal). Root-cause, outcome-promise, and mechanism-as-fact copy removed across home/services/RAPID/IASTM/cupping; his neutral "may help / may be included" wording in.
  • Booking: "Book Appointment" CTAs on technique pages; "Initial Assessment + Treatment" and "Reassessment + Treatment" naming; prices now show HST-inclusive totals ($97.75 / $115.00 / $132.25).
  • "Modality" is now "treatment technique" ("Treatment" on the massage page); trust ticker converted to a static list; TMJ card moved first; identical footers with the new practice tagline; "cancellation list" renamed "wait list"; "certified" wording replaced with training/additional-training; IASTM renamed Mobilization; RockTape external button and program claims removed; contact form sensitive-info note added.
v23 · Brand refresh (teal + gradient + Montserrat)
  • Applied the new brand guide, visuals only: the navy → blue → teal colour run now sits as a thin bar under the header and along the top of the footer.
  • Bridge teal (#2EBFA0) is the signature accent, it carries the eyebrows, the "here's what you get" checkmarks, the info-bar separators, and the "what to expect" step numbers. Blue stays on the functional buttons, links, and booking.
  • Converged the palette to the exact brand values (Ink navy, Sense blue, Deep blue, Slate, Paper, Cloud) and refreshed the swatches above.
  • Switched the type to Montserrat across the whole site, the brand's one-font system.
  • Every layout, link, and the booking flow are unchanged, this is paint, not a rebuild.
v22 · Rebuild QA pass
  • Reworked the four-info bar into a single-line scrolling ticker (no more stacked dead space).
  • Added a real mobile hamburger menu (the nav used to disappear on phones).
  • Mobile fixes: the "What's Different" comparison stacks instead of squishing; the About credential logos stack one-per-row; appointment time / price / button now align consistently.
  • Nav trimmed to just the logo; footer "Book" column renamed "Connect"; the "Who is this for" cards now link to the matching service pages.
  • Copy polish: specific "Learn more about RAPID / IASTM / Cupping" buttons; appointment buttons renamed (Book Initial Assessment / Follow-up / Reassessment); reworded the AI-sounding services and CTA headings; cleaned up the privacy "Questions or complaints" layout; set the cancellation date to July 1, 2026.
  • Still open: confirm the "also offered" Therapeutic Massage block and final Contact hours with Mathieu; one cupping element (D7) needs clarification before I touch it.
v21 · CMTNB advertising-compliance pass
  • Brought the site in line with the College of Massage Therapists of New Brunswick (CMTNB) advertising rules (Policy & Position Statements). A massage-therapy website counts as advertising under those rules.
  • Removed all client reviews/testimonials, the "5.0 on Google" rating callouts, and the "Read all / Leave a review" links from the homepage, About, and the RAPID, IASTM, and Therapeutic Massage pages, testimonials are not permitted.
  • Removed the "Top Pick / Best in Massages" CommunityVotes awards section, superiority and endorsement claims are not permitted.
  • Reworded "specialist / specializes" to "trained in / works across" (implying specialist status is not permitted) and softened unverifiable outcome claims like "lasting change."
  • Kept what's allowed: CMTNB registration, credentials and qualifications, services offered, hours, location, and the 16-year record-retention note in the privacy policy.
  • Note: several removed items (reviews, featured reviews, awards) were things Mathieu had asked for; worth confirming the interpretation with CMTNB before launch.
v20.3 · Real insurer list + featured reviews
  • Updated the direct-billing FAQ with Mathieu's actual insurers from his billing portals: Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Desjardins, Green Shield, SSQ, Industrial Alliance, and Equitable Life, plus many more via TELUS Health eClaims.
  • Featured the two reviews Mathieu chose: Wendy (RAPID for a frozen shoulder and TMJ, a long-time patient) and Lynne (neck and shoulder relief, sleeping comfortably again).
  • Pointed the "Read all Google reviews" link and the footer Google Business Profile link to his exact Google listing, and added a "Leave a review" link so happy patients can post a review in one tap.
v20.2 · Polish & consistency
  • Fixed the navigation so every page shows the same links in the same order (the Therapeutic Massage page was missing its FAQ link).
  • Reworked the homepage headline and a few lines for a more grounded, professional tone, and made the "different approach" comparison fairer to other clinics.
  • IASTM relabelled to "Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation" (Mathieu's wording).
  • Gave the Cupping page a real cupping photo (it had been sharing the IASTM image), and capped portrait photos on phones so they are not oversized.
  • Clarified that appointments are cancelled or rescheduled through the link in the booking email.
v20.1 · Audit cleanup
  • Removed the hardcoded "88 reviews" count (it kept going stale as reviews grow); the homepage now reads "5.0 on Google" and links to "Read all Google reviews."
  • Replaced an unverifiable "owner-response rate" stat with a concrete trust point (direct billing on most plans).
  • Fixed leftover spots that still listed the old service set so RAPID, IASTM, and Cupping (plus Therapeutic Massage) read consistently, including the page descriptions Google shows.
v20 · Booking & modality restructure
  • Therapeutic Massage reframed as a treatment, not a modality, so the site now presents three modalities (RAPID, IASTM, Cupping).
  • All booking buttons unified to "Book Appointment," each pointing to the one ClinicSense booking page.
  • "How appointments work" rewritten to Mathieu's final wording: Initial Assessment, Follow-Up (30 / 45 / 60 with duration guidance), and Re-Assessment.
  • "Clients" changed to "patients" across the whole site.
  • FAQ billing answer cleaned up (insurer list plus a "cannot be guaranteed" note); cancellation policy matched to ClinicSense; privacy set to 16-year record retention.
  • Reviews carousel now shows one review at a time on a 10-second rotation; phone number removed in favour of online booking and messaging.
  • Appointment cards and a new pricing FAQ now show the price ladder: 30 / 45 / 60 minutes at $85 / $100 / $115 + HST, with the Initial Assessment and Re-Assessment at $115 + HST.
v19 · Natural wording & schedule
  • Removed em dashes across the site and rephrased so everything reads naturally.
  • Hours set to closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Cancellation, conduct, credit-card, and privacy wording tightened.
v18 · Policies, Cupping & fixes
  • Added Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy, and Terms & Conditions pages.
  • Added a dedicated Cupping page.
  • Finalized the FAQ answers and made mobile and review-carousel fixes.
v17 · Reviews throughout
  • Trimmed the homepage review carousel to the strongest quotes.
  • Spread curated Google reviews across the service pages and the About page.
v16 · Readability
  • Larger fonts for comfortable reading and tighter spacing.
  • Added the EN / FR bilingual badge.
v15 · FAQ page
  • Added a full FAQ, with a focus on billing and insurance questions.
v14 · IASTM rewrite & billing clarity
  • Modernized the IASTM page around a "precision over pressure" approach.
  • Clarified that motor-vehicle-accident visits are pay-then-submit, not direct-billed.
  • Removed the phone prompt from the About page.
v13 · Naming & details finalized
  • Service naming settled on "Therapeutic Massage."
  • Association set to NBMA and weekend hours corrected.
v12 · Service descriptions tightened
  • Refined the service descriptions across all pages for accuracy and consistency.
v11 · Reviews carousel & awards
  • Built the Google-reviews carousel.
  • Added the CommunityVotes "Top Pick" awards section (2023 and 2024).
v10 · Structure & depth
  • Added "Who this is for" and a "why this practice" comparison.
  • Moved reviews higher and built dedicated service-detail pages.
v9 · Mathieu's voice
  • Shifted the copy into Mathieu's own voice and reframed the IASTM explanation.
  • Expanded the conditions list and swapped in stronger reviews.
v8 · First feedback batch
  • Applied Mathieu's first round of edits to the mockup.
v7 · Credentials
  • Put the credential logos (CMTNB, NBMA, RAPID, RockTape) on clean, clickable chips.
v6 · Readability & credentials pass
  • Bigger fonts, restructured credentials, and the RAPID logo added.
  • First round of Google-reviews research.
v5 · More pages & palette
  • Added the About and Contact pages.
  • Refined the colour palette and navigation.
v4 · Logo & polish
  • Added the full logo, refined the buttons, and added small personal touches.
v3 · Brand colour
  • Adopted the clinic's blue accent to match ClinicSense.
v2 · Real photos
  • Replaced placeholder stock images with Mathieu's own clinic and treatment photos.
v1 · First build
  • Rebuilt the core pages (Home, Services, RAPID) in a clean, modern template to replace the Wix layout.

What's done vs. what's pending (as of v32, Jul 27)

Done and locked to Mathieu's wording: all 17 site-wide rules (⚡) plus §1 Booking, §2 Home, §3 Services, §4 RAPID, §5 IASTM, §6 Registered Massage Therapy, §7 Cupping, §8 FAQ, §9 Privacy, §10 Cancellation, §11 Terms. Credentials are text-only pairs (Registered with CMTNB · Services offered — no memberships, no course names, never "certified"; CMTNB Rules v10).

Pending: photoshoot photos for the four interim images (§14) · contact-form delivery key (Web3Forms) · Mathieu's verdicts (photos section · website-pricing question · footer one-word confirm; FAQ untick, French and TMJ answered via Notion, applied in v32) · his §18 redo transcript · privacy-counsel sign-off + his final terms read. Credential logos are out permanently by his call, so no permissions are pending.
